I do not want any calls allowed to my home that are soliciting business, services, etc. This means no humans or computer generated messages. This also means not being allowed to leave message on answering machines. The privacy of our homes must be protected by the FTC. Do not be unduly influenced by the Direct Marketing Association. Your responsibility is to protect the privacy rights of the public, not protect the marketing rights of the telemarketing associations. Do not change the terminology to allow these companies loopholes with which to bombard the comsumers. Changing the phrase "measured per day per calling campaign" substituting the phrase "measured over a 30-day period" allows the DMA a huge window of opportunity that should be kept shut - forever! Please, do your job and protect the public. Do not succumb to any pressure and influence from the DMA.
