When I signed up for the initial "Do Not Call List", I signed up because I DO NOT want to be called by any party whose purpose for calling is to solicit money from me in any way. Even if I have previously done business with a company, I DO NOT want a company calling me at a later time, whether it is a pre-recorded message or not, for the purpose of gaining further business from me. If I need to purchase something, I will research it on my own and choose the best company to meet my needs. My evenings are much more peaceful since I've signed up for the Do Not Call list and I'd like it to continue that way.
