|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:Please do not provide any new "safe harbors" or relax any existing "safe harbors" under the do-not-call regulations. The Direct Marketing Association is a band of sleazy scoundrels who are devoted to pestering people who simply want to be left alone. It should ALWAYS be illegal to have a computer or other machine call someone on the telephone for marketing purposes, and I am certainly opposed to expanding the exceptions that would allow this obnoxious technology. Thanks for your consideration of these comments.
