This is an obvious I repeat obvious ploy by marketeers to undermine the National Do Not Call List. Not only do I now have to protect my home phone but they can now pester me on my cell phone if I don't register. If you allow this method to circumvent the Do Not Call List you might as well flush the entire Do Not Call list down the john. The marketers will have won we will never be safe from the constant invasion of our homes and privacy. It does not take a rocket scientist to see what this is really about. The shame is most people are probably totally unaware this is happening or there would be outrage.
