On the matter of permitting pre-recorded calls, to align the FTC policy with that of the FCC, I think the opposite should happen. The law as it now stands prevents unwanted, unsolicited telemarketing calls. To allow more calls simply because they are pre-recorded would eventually destroy much of the intent of the original law. I enrolled in the national do no call list to get rid of these parasites, and sincerely hope no rule changes are made to reduce the effectivness of the list. It has been heaven so far. Please keep it that way.
