To Whom It May Concern: I would like to state that I am horrried to hear of all the ways around "Do Not Call" lists are being invented. I don't care if I have a business relationship with a company. I do not want a call from any of them EVER unless it is, for example, my credit card company calling because they are concerned my account has been compromised. The recorded messages are even worse. You can't put a stop to them as they supply no way to tell them you do not want the calls, at least not unless you listen to the whole message. I don't believe ANYONE (charities, political parties, etc.) should be allowed to call asking for money or your vote. How does the argument for free speech come in here? It is same as them arguing they have the right to knock on my door, then force their way in to try to sell me something. It's my property and that is trespassing. I pay for the phone line, and I consider it the same thing. You feel like a prisoner in your own home with these calls. Those of us with family members who work night shifts can't even have a phone in the bedroom thanks to these calls. Please do not allow these businesses to further rape the America Public.
