I am against any proposal that would allow any more unsolicited phone calls to be made to residential phones. We're now able to drastically eliminate the number of calls received because of the Do-Not-Call List and now it sounds like someone wants to reverse direction. I have already been receiving pre-recorded telemarketing messages and not known what to do about it because obviously there is no one to ask for some identity. I think we should be allowed to do things on our home without being interrupted thinking that its someone we wish to talk to or that there is an emergency that we need to respond to. We don't all have cordless phones that we carry with us or caller ID and I consider these things more than just a minor nuisance.
