Comments:
I am presently on the Do Not Call Database, use a telezapper and receive two to three machine generated blanks a day on my answering machine in addition to dead air on calls I pick up. Allowing commercial machine-generated calls would significantly increase this aggravation. Because the definition of an existing business relationship is tenuous and almost spurious, I believe permitting this is unconscionable unless there is appropriate compensation for consumers. Separately, to stratospherically expand the call abandonment acceptability percentages period from a 24 hour period to a 744 hour period is an invitation to consumer torture and entirely unacceptable.
