I am one citizen who has greatly appreciated the ability to restrict unwanted telemarketing calls by utilizing the Do Not Call list. I have recently read about this proposal and find myself dismayed at the possibility of the return of voice spam in the form of prerecorded calls. These calls are just as unwelcome in my household as any other form of marketing call and I would urge you to turn down this proposed amendment. Thank you.
