I am completely opposed to the petition by VMBC to allow prerecorded messages to be delivered by phone. When a consumer has registered with the DO NOT CALL list, we do not want any sales calls. There should be NO EXCEPTIONS. If a corporation wants to make calls to its customers, the onus should be on the corporation to get permission from its customers. The corporation should be responsible for compiling a DO CALL list, and it should include only those customers who specifically gave their permission to be called. I urge you not to allow this petition to be granted to VMBC!!
