Comments:
The National Do Not Call Registry is one of the greatest innovations from the government in the last decade. The proposed changes to FTC rules would weaken this registry, allowing more telemarketing calls from companies that consumers have dealt with in the past. Speaking as a consumer, I do not want to be telemarketed by ANYONE, EVER, not even companies that I've dealth with in the past. These changes make it easier for companies to bombard consumers like me with prerecorded messages. I'm sorry, but that's a terrible idea for American consumers. Please do not implement these changes.
