Citizens finally had the power to control the unwanted solicitations that continually interrupted our dinners, that woke us up on weekend mornings, and that ruined our otherwise peaceful times. For a change, we had the power and could maintain our privacy. Any change or weakening of the that law is a direct slap to each citizen who signed up for the do-not-call list. For a change, support the citizen, not the corporation. Put personal privacy ahead of corporate profits and special interest money. You should not be looking to weaken this law, you should be working to strenghen it. I strongly recommend against weakening the Do-Not-Call list through either of the amendments proposed.
