Dear FTC, When I heard the story on our local news station that the "Do Not Call" initiative may soon have a loophole through which telemarketers will be able to call us again, I was disappointed and disillusioned. Having our privacy protected by the "Do Not Call" initiative is a tremendous help. We are inundated with thousands of bits of information per day, and to be able to process all of that we as human beings need some time to ourselves. And where do we go to enjoy our family time, our time... We go home. Being interrupted and hassled by the telemarketers, being afraid to answer the phone in fear of getting verbally harassed, and not having one's own privacy in one's home is a crime. Please don't allow for this loophole to occur. We trust in the authorities to protect our privacy, and having this "Do Not Call" feature available is a great help as we deal with everyday life. Sincerely, Milica Pugh, B.Sc.
