I am very much against any loosening of the "do not call" rules. I have registered my phone numbers and have had a great reduction in the number of unwanted marketing calls. I still receive a few and file a complaint whenever I have sufficient information. I do not want to receive any recorded calls from companies or businesses that I have had previous contact. Please do not open this unwanted door to disturb my tranquility. Marketing calls are always unwanted and an intrusion. I am in favor of reducing such calls in any way possible. There is no valid reason for any marketing program to call me. Businesses that have valid need to contact me may use the public mail service. I would support increasing the do not call registry to cover political and begging calls.
