This past election year our voice mail box was filled with idiotic compaign ploys ..'"Please hold, we have an important message for you", ad naseum. When we received these when answering the phone, we were prevented from using our phone - not matter how many times we hung up or waited until picking up the phone. I called AT&T and they said they could do nothing. They could not track them down or give me any information regarding who they were. They laughed when I suggested giving me a number I could call on my cell when my home phone was being hijacked. I'd like to be paid for my time wasted by the ones calling me; as well as begin prevented from using my phone - which I am paying for but being prevented from using. I wonder how AT&T will laugh when I cancel their service.
