I am very happy not to get annoying calls from people trying to sell me things. If I want to buy an item, I prefer to do the contacting. I really would not appreciate recorded messages cluttering up my evenings or my answering service. It is an intrusion, and a very unwelcome thought. Please don't allow this possible loophole to disturb those of us who have achieved evening peace and quiet from solicitors and the annoying interruption of a ringing phone. I realize these people are trying to make a living, but let them do so with the people who chose not to put themselves on a no-call list, and leave those of us who value our privacy alone. I have a friend who is not on the no-call list and his phone rings constantly from 8:00 in the evening until shortly after 10 pm, always an unavailable number from a telemarketer. It gets very old, as would receiving recorded messages as a way to get around a very good law. Thank you so much.
