I am completely against any loophole that will allow anyone I don't know to call my number, get my answering machine and leave a message that I don't want to hear anyway. If enough calls come in, my entire answering tape could very easily become full, thereby not allowing messages from doctors' offices, my bank, my relatives, etc. to be recorded. This is an invasion of my privacy, not to mention the possibility of my missing a truly IMPORTANT messagedue to a full tape. I am extremely angered that I even have to comment on this. It should be a foregone conclusion that privacy in the home is sacrosanct! Why do a company's rights outweigh mine in my own home???!!!
