I do not want the FTC to change the rules regarding telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to me from sellers with whom I supposedly have a business relationship. Just because I have purchased a product from someone does not mean I am interested in receiving these annoying and intrusive types of calls. If the issue is one of uniform regulation between the FTC and the FCC it seems to me just as easy to change the FCC rules to match the current FTC rules. Since I have been on the DO Not Call list I no longer receive any calls from telemarketers. It gives me a great sense of relief and peace of mind to know that those calls have ended. I would hate to have that change. Thank you for your consideraion.
