I find the spam/ telemarketing ploys offensive and unacceptable on my personal, and business phones and email addressess. I want it controlled and stopped; the companies who rely on this type of marketing seek the least expensive most available and vulnerable avenues to "grow their business or sell their products". I own my own business and do not seek new business opportunities by badgering; misleading; intruding; imposing or misrepresenting my business type or services to potential customers/ clients. I respect potential new clients and seek to develope a mutually beneficial opportunity to work with and sell to them. Calling early in the morning or late at night; Sundays or through email access whenever they choose is inappropriate and violates my home and business space and puts me in the position to rudely "hang up", or impatiently listen and wastes my time. Freedom includes the freedom to choose NOT to interact or be disturbed, certainly in my own home.
