Even after signing up on all of the Do-not-call lists (Federal and State), I still receive 5 - 7 calls per week. Removing limits on electronic calls would tend to increase the number and would, at the same time, allow the telemarketing companies to reduce staff, reduce overhead, and increase the volume and frequency of calls. It matters not whether a disruptive call at dinner comes from a person or a machine. The reason for beimg on a Do-not-call list is to stop or reduce the calls.
