Please do not pass this abomination. If I pay for my phone service, I should be able to select whom should use it. I have never bought anything from a telemarketer and never will. These calls are invasive and an infringement on my privacy. I also believe that the current no call list should include ALL potential telemarketing parties. I am astonished at the self serving interest of the Congress and Senate to exclude "political interest groups" from the no call list. You guys are shameful. The 2004 election resulted in unspeakable numbers of unwanted calls from political organizations, and the holiday season turns loose all the charities. Congress/Senate - get back to doing your job and stop nonsense legislation like this.
