The do not call list should mean "do not call", period! I do not wish to be interrupted, on the phone that I pay for, by any commercial, charitable, political or survey organization that is not returning my call. I especially do not wish to be hung up on, by predictive dialers. I do not wish to be interrupted by junk faxes, or machines dialing my phone looking for fax machines. I do not wish to be called by machines with recorded announcements, ever. I do not wish to come home to find my answering machine full of recorded "phone spam" (this happens daily now). I am tired of receiving calls with "phony" caller ID, simply to get past my "privacy manager" service that I pay $5 a month for simply to be able to leave my phone plugged in. I do not trust any business, to be ethical or even concerned about my privacy or interests. They have proven many times lately, that they are quite willing to ignore my wishes, and abuse my privacy. I want a simple way to persue these people to recover my costs for trying to keep them from bothering me. In short, these people have made the phone useless. Why do we tolerate this? If a number is on the "do not call" list, no unsolicited calls should be allowed to that number. Period. That's simple, fair, and what the people want. Thank you.
