I am one of the 66 million Americans that signed up for the national Do Not Call Registry. I do not approve of the change proposed by the FTC. I oppose the looseing restrictions on telemarketers. Why should we be subjected to unwanted calls? Why should we be subjected to prerecorded calls? I do not want either coming in home. Why should I answer my phone to find out it an annoying fake voice or a live voice? You cannot hang up and get rid of it. It keeps going on and on untill the end. What if I needed my phone to call 911 for an emergency? A few seconds could mean life or death.
