Comments:
I do not approve of any loosening of Do Not Call restrictions. Prerecorded messages are as disruptive as live calls and leave no recourse for objection. The performance benchmarks should also be kept tight. Recently, I have observed an increase in violations of the our registration. When I confront managers at the offending call contractor, they give well-rehearsed speeches about how well they "scrub" their lists. Nontheless, they have violated my privacy and usurped my personal utility. Furthermore, restrictions should remain at least as tight, if not tighter for wireless phone numbers. The short summary is, I DO NOT WANT telemarketing calls from vendors or contractors without established relationships. If I want such a relationship, I will be the one to initiate it.
