Please stop this amendment. Companies wishing to solicit business are still free to use the US Mail, which we may choose to look at more favorably in our spare time versus the telephone ringing, annoying us, and interrupting family time. The company soliciting business or whatever, could leave their telephone number on the mailing so interested people could call them back. Do they not see that telephone solicitation puts them instantly in an unfavorable light ? This amendment could persuade me to cancel my credit cards and do business with only the most necessary companies to avoid calls. Please help us avoid this additional stress in our life. Thank you.
