Comments:
Like many people, I rely on my answering maching to receive critical or emergency information about my children, should they be injured, abducted, or anything else while at school or daycare. Telemarketing messages left on the machine could realistically fill up the message box's message space, so that I or any other parent could not receive such critical information about our children. The answering machine is my link to my children, and no uninvited commercial messages should take priority over my family's safety and welfare.
