I strongly request that you NOT consider allowing telemarketers to utilize electronic recording devices to make "cold calls" to people who have their telephone numbers registered on the Do Not Call List. The reason my name is on the list is to stop the calls I received from telemarketers whether or not they speak to me. For example, on a single eveving before registering, I received no less than 12 calls from sources "unknown" on my caller ID. I fear the evenings I enjoy with my family would return to being continually interupted as before. Again I most strongly urge that you do not allow telemarketers to return to calling people who do not want to be interupted.
