I urge you not to amend the Do Not Call restrictions to allow easier marketing calls. In fact, I would prefer that you disallow any direct marketing calls. Most of these calls come at inconvenient times and are disturbing, and moreover I do not want to pay for the time used by marketers on my cell phone. I have never made a purchase or used a service from a direct marketer, and will not do so in the future. I have the right to peace and tranquility in my own home, and to my privacy. Using the services of a company does not mean that I have an established relationship with that company. I use the services of that company for which I pay. Also I wish to preserve as much of my privacy as possible and do not want to lose any of it to telephone marketers. There are many more consumers than companies that use direct marketers and we want our voices to be heard in this matter.
