The DMA is trying to change the Do not call to give them more access without impunity for calling people who do not want to hear from them. I am fervently against amending the Telemarketing Sales Rule so that DMA can ferret its way into more homes more often. They are trying to negate the fact that we all signed up fopr this regisrty so we would not be pestered and annoyed by their incessant calling. For once let the letter of the law actually be its intent! A live annoying person is just as obnoxious as this pre-recorded message they propose.
