Please do NOT allow this ammendment to go through. The Do Not Call Registry needs to be strengthened and not weakened. Consumers do not want ANY calls and particularly not recorded calls. You need to start following the philosphy of making rules and regulations based on the Opt-in rather than the Opt-out mentality. I should never have to spend one second of my time excercising an opt-out option for marketing, soliciting, information sharing and privacy issues. Let the minority of people who actually want these marketing calls explicitly Opt-in and leave the rest of us alone.
