Please DO NOT allow an amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to consumers with whom the seller on whose behalf the calls are made has an established business relationship. This would lead to "selling" of relationships and "please listen to a message from one of our partners". The lack of telemarkerter phone calls has been a relief since the no call list started. Please continue to allow the peaceful evenings to continue. When my phone rings I'd prefer it to be someone I like to hear from. Thank you for listening.
