I am very much against any further loosening of regulations on telemarketing and spam. I am against allowing telemarketers to use pre-recorded messages under any conditions. I already receive five or six telemarketing calls as well as scores of spam. Almost all are phoney and most are from people who I have never had any sort of business relationship. Staying in business is difficult enough as it is without the distractions of these scammers. If this goes through, it will reinforce my awareness that the current US political system has been corrupted by money and thieves. If I can't stay in business, I cannot pay taxes, let alone feed my family.
