As an individual consumer, I support the Commissions continued restriction of unsolicited calls to my home telephone. This includes further tightening of restrictions on businesses with whom I have a business relationship. The definitieon of business relationship is too loose. The current definition and changes requested by the telemarketing industry are not responding to my desire to stop the continued flood of unsolicited calls. I will call the company if I want to transact business with a company. My initiative should be the controlling factor; not the fact that I may at one time have purchased a product from the company. The company can use the US mail or an email address I voluntarily supplied if the company wants to communicate with me. Please stop the flood of undesired and unsolicited telephone calls.
