Dear FTC, I assumed the purpose of the Do Not Call registry was to eliminate unwanted telephone calls from telemarketers. Yet, here you are trying to reinstate what the american public overwhelmingly decided they DID NOT WANT. If the FTC gives in to a special interest lobby, I can only hope that my fellow americans will rise up in disgust and anger and demand that you all be fired. I suggest you think about your own jobs before you allow prerecorded messages to spam american telephone lines. Sincerely, Pat Townsend
