I am disgusted by the proposed weakening of the do not call list. Are you going to amend the name of the list, too, if you approve this? When I signed up, I meant that I did not want to be called for solicitations. I have a young child, and I'm so tired of the telephone ringing nonstop by someone wanting to sell me something or whatnot. If I want it, I'll call them. I pay to not publish my phone number, I include my name on the do not call list - what more do I as a citizen need to do to say my time in my home is just that - mine? Perhaps hire a lobbyist to make big campaign donations to convince you that we somehow want these calls? Yeah, right.
