Dear Sir, I'm tired of being bombarded with marketing calls. With the advent of DO-NOT-CALL, their frequency has dropped some. However, allowing computer generated messages to be sent to my phone constitutes a threat on my sanity. This phone is my personal, private property. Since I own it, why can't I decide if I want to receive these calls? Just because the number is published as a convenience for someone wishing to contact me does not justify wholesale 'spamming'. As a comparison, take junk mail. I go to my mailbox once each day. Within 20 seconds, I have discarded everything I have no interest in. Not very intrusive at all. I would urge you to consider controlling access to my phone number (and everyone else's) in this manner. If the proposed regulations would allow calls more intrusive than my junk mail analogy, I would urge you to not allow it. Please give me some peace in this area. Sincerely, Charles Gilley
