Telemarketing is a major annoyance. Jesse Crowe is absolutely wrong. There should be no pre-recorded telemarketing allowed. Pre-recorded calls are the most inexcusable infringement on my time. I beleive prerecorded calls are well-beyond 3% per month because I get several per month. I hang-up immediately. Since telemarketing appears to be here to stay it should only be allowed to exist with live calls to give one the opportunity to say Don't Call Again.Being on the National Do Not Call Registry and our State Registry has curtailed the unwanted calls but has not eliminated them. Please don't give any organization the opportunity to bombard us further with info we are not interested in. If I want to make a purchase I do my research and I make my selection. I dont' need some lame-brain script reading me info I have no interest in. I hate telemarketing.
