As a private citizen, I would like to register my concern regarding the telemarketing industry's desire to start spamming cell phone owners. One reason I got a cell phone was to be rid of all those ridiculous and bothersome  sales calls that we all received before the days of the no-call list. If I want to do business with someone, I will initiate the call. I don't want to have to pay for some pre-recorded mess about something I'm not interested in to begin with. I hope you will consider the general public's desire to be insulated from such aggravation from strangers and NOT allow the mass-marketers to take over the cell phone industry the way they used to use the "wired" system. At that point, the only "safe haven" would be to do without a phone altogether and I think that's asking too much of the general public in favor of commercial harangue. Please, Please, PLEASE don't open this floodgate. Thank you for the opportunity to express my views. Sincerely, Joseph S. Causey Athens, Georgia
