Unsolicited voice mail for commercial purposes amounts to an invasion of privacy. Consumers should not have to "pay" for receipt of voice mail on electronic medium, be they telephone hardline, cellular phone or computer e-mail. Notwithstanding, if approvied such approval should contain stipulation that allows each consumer to be offered opportunity to "opt-out" from unilateral receipt of such electronic contacts, regardless of pre-existing business relationship between consumer and commercial entity. (Same should apply to solicitations by charities or on behalf of a federal, state or local agency. Signed, Marcela & Denis Maduro, Jacksonville, Florida
