There should be NO exceptions to the do not call rule. ANY and ALL companies that want to contact a non-commercial entity by phone must be forced to acquire prior written positive permission that the party wants to receive their call. The mere fact that an individual has a listed phone number or once did business with a company does NOT give them the right to telephone contact. There should be NO exceptions. There should be significant penalties for any company violating this prohibition.
