I am opposed to any change to allow any more prerecorded message to consumers. I have already been subject to several such messages. In general these type of messages are much longer than any message a live person would leave. I got one such message every day for two weeks telling me it "was not a sales call" but not telling me what it was other than it was "very important" that I return the call. When I receive any unsolicited call from a business the first thing I ask is "what is your business relationship to me" so getting long messages that provide me with no information is irriatating. One particular prerecorded message played whether I answered the phone or the answering machine answered. If it is not worth the time of someone with whom "I have a relationship" to have a real person call me then I do not want a call from them at all. They can send me a letter!
