I have enrolled in the Do Not Call Registry and do not wish to receive solicitation calls of any sort, whether they are pre-recorded or not. Prior to registering for Do Not Call many of the solicitation messages we received at home were pre-recorded and were equally as intrusive as those sent using live operators. I consider that allowing the resumption of such calls would result in inreasing personal intrusions that we have blessedly avoided since joining the Do Not Call Registry. If companies wish to contact me or my family members they have the ablility to do so by email. This alone should be sufficient for their marketing needs. Do not extend companies the ability to contact me by phone. That is exactly the reason why I registered for Do Not Call.
