There are instances of people not being able to use their phones due to a computer-dialed call that tied up the line (you can't stop it by hanging up on the receiving end). A life was lost locally several years ago when a spouse couldn't free up the line to call 911 for a husband suffering a heart attack. I pay for my phone line for MY use, not for the use of sales people trying to sell their wares. The no-call list is the best government-sponsored thing to come along in many years. Don't allow its good record to be spoiled!
