|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:Telemarketers have no right to invade my privacy on a phone service that I pay for. I pay for the phone, not the marketers. It would be awful if the FCC allowed even computerized calls to be made to me. When I sign up for the "do not call" list, I expect just that...DO NOT CALL. There are plenty of other avenues to explore in case I want a particular item or service. The choice is mine, not the telemarketers. The "Do Not Call" list should not have any exceptions.
