I do not want ANY calls to my home from anyone I do not know, especially telemarketers. EVERY call made by a telemarketer is offensive to me, and an invasion of my privacy. I do not want to have to wade through telemarketing calls on my answering machine to get to legitimate messages from friends and family. You are not protecting the public if you change the law to allow this. Stop ALL telemarketing calls of any kind, unless the telemarketers have written permission from the invididuals to call. Don't include that permission in tiny, tiny print on something that is not clearly labeled.
