"The FTC is considering a petition by a telemarketing firm that would allow pre-recorded "spam blitzes" to be left on your voicemail." I wholeheartedly oppose any attempt by telemarketers to invade my privacy either by human or computer means. The "No-Call" list is there for a reason and that's to keep telemarketers away from us. The FTC will be doing great harm to the public by allowing telemarketers to clog up our voicemail and answering machines with their bilge. Important legitimate messages may not get through if the FTC allows telemarketers to use computer technology to harass us in our homes.
