Comments:
We are bombarded with so much advertising, mostly unwanted, I would ask the commission that the FCC's more relaxed rules conform to the FTC's more stringent rules LIMITING calls. The argument that Fortune 500 companies want to let us (the consumer) know about the “biggest sale of the year” via prerecorded phone calls IS ABSURD. WE ALREADY KNOW via TV and RADIO. PLEASE STOP THE INTRUSION. The calls are tantamount to voice spam. They are annoying, unwanted, disruptive, and a blight. If anything I would like both bodies to tighten up the restrictions on these unwanted calls, not loosen them.
