I would like to voice my strong opposition to the proposal which would allow prerecorded messages telephoned to individuals on the Federal Do Not Call List. The whole purpose of the list is to allow those who do not wish to be disturbed at home with unsolicited calls. Allowing the industry to use a much less expensive (to them) system would result in turning the telephone into a nonstop intrusion into a family's life. Please do not take one of the best rules you have ever passed and turn it into a travesty. Thank you.
