If telemarketers were paying my phone bill, then and only then would they have the right to invade my privacy. Since they do not pay my phone bill, they should not have the right to solicit to me in any form or fashion. It is rude, obtrusive, and infuriating to be called at home by someone trying to sell me their product or service. Furthermore, my home is my safe haven and to have someone knock at my door or ring me on my phone without invitation is tantemount to raping my peace and quiet away from me without consent after a day of bombarding me with commercials and advertisements from every other angle imaginable to those captains of the free enterpise system. Please leave us the peaceful refuge and sanctity of our homes. Thank you.
