It is not supprising the FTC is considering an amendment like this when it is currently necessary to pay a fee to have your land line number placed on a do not call list. Any one who would approve this amendment only has the potential for personal gain. Why should a cell phone subscriber have to pay air time to listen to an unsolicited message or even more disgusting pay air time to delete the message. Cell phone are now being sold with virus protection. Allowing call like this would only increase this problem. Spam on the internet is anoying. Can we keep our cell phones out of this problem.
